Meet Dr Steven - A Vital Supporter of the Momo Team
We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Steven.
31 years old, married with one child, Dr Stevens is a practicing MD for the past 9 years and is currently pursuing a Masters to specialize in pediatric care.
Dr Steven and James met when James' father was sick and admitted to the hospital he worked at. Since then, he has maintained a relationship with James as a brother.
When James started to take care of the children Steven saw it as something great and a sign of love and responsibility. Dr Steven loves to help those in need, and sees the work with the Momo children as a blessing to watch them grow with happiness as they're being equipped to make and do something for themselves.
With his deep commitment to service, he’s already helping us work toward meeting the most urgent health needs of the children.
He’s:

Training James in basic "at home" medical care

Helping James and Team recognize when professional treatment is needed
Volunteering his time to check in on the children and team if/when they are admitted to the hospital/clinic

Advocating for registration with the government so we can more readily access medical and community support.

Committed to joining our Board once registration is complete

Supporting our long-term vision to build an orphanage with an on-site medical clinic
Dr Stevens' presence is a huge step forward in giving every child the medical care they deserve.
