Passing the Baton:  Strategic Growth & Prayer Priorities for MCH Dear MCH Community, As we step into this new season, I   (aka maama Sue)  want to share an update on the journey and transitions taking place at Momo Children’s Home.   When this ministry began, I took on the role of spiritual oversight alongside a handful of faithful friends who also stepped in to help meet the immediate practical needs for food, clothing, medical and housing.

  Great News: We Have a Fiscal Sponsor! Dear Friends and Supporters, We are thrilled to share a major milestone for Momo Children’s Home! As of June 18, 2026 , we have officially signed an agreement with our new Fiscal Sponsor, the Christian Ministry Alliance (CMA) ! What This Means for You Tax-Deductible Donations: Because CMA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry organization, all of your financial gifts toward MCH will now be fully tax-deductible. Fee Structure: As our fiscal sponsor, CMA will handle the collection and distribution of all our donations for a standard 6% administrative fee (plus a 4% processing fee for online transactions). Action Required for Recurring Donors Within the next week, MCH will be fully set up with our new CMA donation page.   We ask you continue to pray for: -  A bountiful harvest - A "fiscal sponsor" - Favor with people of influence, and a path to grow their donor base.   - 3 month supply of essential needs (food, clothing, housing and medical) - The ability to meet the bedding and housing requirements for NGO status.   (Note: structurally we are re-aligning as FBC (Family Based Care) vs orphanage.  See explanation below)   - Education and skills training.   They "yearn" to go to school, but to send the children to the local school however costs $5200 per term, so for now they must continue to be home schooled.   Pray for basic supplies (paper, pens, books, etc) as well as curriculum and people to adequately teach. MOMO CHILDREN'S HOME IS OFFICIAL!!! November 18, 2025 Momo Children's Home received their  Certificate of Incorporation!!    Next step in the process is filing for the NGO status.    To do this the government is requiring that each child have a "normal" bed vs mattresses on the floor.  In addition, they are requiring stable housing - i.e. rent be paid ideally a year, but at least 3 months in advance.    Amount needed to finalize:  7,550,000.00 UGX / $2083.00 USD Please help us brainstorm fundraising ideas Online silent auction?  Would you have anything to sell? TRUSTING GOD THROUGH THE STORM  A Call To Prayer Posted:  Friday, November 21, 2025  On Wednesday, November 19th, James reached out to me ("maama Sue") with a message describing his current burden: "Good morning Maama, how are you doing today Maama. Am sorry the delay to reply But I was overwhelmed. And In hardship you taught me to seek God first. Maama yesterday i teared up because of the situation. Its challenging time here as  6 of our children are currently sick: Mulunji Joy, Kigozi Ronald, Nangendo Patience, Atukunda Michelle, Nakuwadde Lillian.  We're counting on your prayers during this difficult period.
