November 1, 2025
How awesome is this >>> 12 (Team Members and children) from Momo Children's Home were baptized Saturday!!!
No pond, lake, river or bathtub readily available, so the location is a local establishment where we could "rent a pool"! The water was freezing (so they thought ... I invited James to come to a northern Wisconsin lake in May lol!) (Tech issues so Joseph and Patience are missing in the video )
Congratulations to James, Fred, Julius, Olivia, Lydia, Pius, Christine, Claire, Lillian, Joseph and Patience!
Praise Jesus!!

Updates:
Registration is coming along
We have applied for registration with Uganda's URSB and are just waiting now for the certificate of incorporation. Progress! After that, we apply for NGO status. Last week we had an unofficial board meeting to teach/equip James and team on how to run an official corporate meeting. We're working through Board/Staff positions and who is in charge of what. Learning financial best practices. Recordkeeping, etc. etc. Bless their hearts they are so anxious to learn, but starting at ground zero is going to take a lot of Holy Spirit intervention ... and hopefully one day soon a laptop to work off of!
Still looking
I haven't had a lot of time to pursue looking for a church or non-profit who would be a Fiscal Sponsor. If you know of anyone to reach out to, please do so. What would be involved is simply allowing me to set up a USA bank under their NPO to receive and pay out donations outside of Uganda to Momo. It would not require added work for their staff as I would/could do all the reporting, recordkeeping and transferring of donations to James. (Unless their staff wants to do it!). You can send them to the website and blog to see updates and progress from when we started, and have them contact me anytime. In the meantime, I will continue collecting and transferring funds personally.
Essentials
Food shortages and rent continue to be a monthly issue. They had a good harvest of beans last week, but as of tomorrow will again be out of food essentials. Pray for ideas to raise money for a 3 month reserve for essential. Bare essentials, to feed and house the Team and children is approximately $1500 USD. (That is not including medical.)

Mission Statement
I expressed to James last spring that this was not going to be about just getting relief for he, his team and the children's living expenses. Rather "To provide a safe, nurturing and Christ-centered home for orphaned and other vulnerable children in Uganda, equipping them through education, discipleship, and love for a life of purpose and service. Furthermore, this mission extends outward, equipping James, the team, and the children to become leaders who help and equip others facing similar challenges across Uganda."
Grateful for your prayers, support and love,
"Maama" Sue
Congratulations andWelcome to the Family of God! 🙌✝️🕊️🥰
