Africa Missions Pastors Visit Momo Children's Home
What a journey! I (aka "maama Sue") met James 14 months ago on an online ministry I work with. After frequent contact, ministering with him and learning more of his situation, I reached out to Africa Missions to see if they could send someone to "vet" James, team and the children. (See 3 minute video "Our Story - From the beginning"). Pastor Thabo sent Pastors Innocent and Edward who confirmed their story and that their situation is real. Since then I and mentor team (aka "Aunt Jodianne, Aunt Steffi, Uncle Ben and Uncle Fer) have been been working hard to help. (Check out Momo Moments Blog side panel and posts for progress updates. God is on the move!)
What a blessing! November 12 Africa Missions was in Kampala, Uganda for leadership empowerment and church development initiatives - about 17 km from what we officially named "Momo Children's Home" last spring. On November 17th, Pastors Thabo, Edward, Innocent and Bishop from Burundi gratefully fit in a side trip to visit Momo Children's Home. They were warmly welcomed by James, Team and the children!!! They so enjoyed Pastor Thabo singing and ministering to them. Thank you AFM!
A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Nerina as well. (She could not attend with the AFM team, but sent a gift from Project Lily, clothing and a donation that Pastor Thabo delivered.

Pastor Emmanuel, with Jesus Forever Ministries started a new church plant about 6 months ago a mile from James and the children. As of August, James and team have placed membership there. Yet another answer to our prayers for spiritual covering. Since September we now have been able to transfer "spiritual covering" from myself and mentor team with our virtual home church to a local fellowship. Praise God!!
